Sangria a la Sifnos
One of Linda's favorite drinks was the Sangria served at the Old Captain's Bar on Sifnos, Greece. Whether this topped her list of fav's because of the drink, scenery or company, who knows. One thing that's certain is this is a fantastic beverage!

  • 1 bottle red wine (any ol' red wine will do)
  • 3 shots triple sec
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 apple
  • 1 orange
  • cinnamon to taste
  • sugar to taste
  1. Mix wine, triple sec and orange juice in a pitcher. Add slices of orange and apple. Stir in a few dashes of cinnamon and sugar to taste, then add ice. For a more flavorful concoction, allow the fruit to marinate in the sangria for a day or two before noshing. Mmmmm!
