Spaghetti with Red Clams
Spaghetti with a spicy clam kick.

Ingredients:
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 six and a half ounce cans clams, chopped
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 1 twenty eight ounce can Italian plum tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound spaghetti
Directions:
  1. Sauté garlic in butter and olive oil. Drain clams and add liquid into pan with wine. Boil for one minute. Stir in other ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes, then add clams. Cook until clams are done, then serve over cooked spaghetti.
